By engaging Beditorium's services — whether through a subscription plan, a one-off project, or a discovery call leading to work — you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before proceeding.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("the Client") and Beditorium, operated by Billy ("we," "us," "our"), a content consultancy and video production business based in the United Kingdom.

These Terms apply to all services provided by Beditorium, including subscription plans purchased through our website, one-off project work quoted separately, and any content consultancy provided on a session basis.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Active clients will be notified of material changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

2. Our services

Beditorium offers the following core services:

  • Content Consultancy — strategic content planning, platform strategy, brand voice development, and ongoing advisory sessions
  • Video Editing — post-production services including editing, colour grading, motion graphics, subtitles, and social clip creation
  • Full Production Packages — end-to-end project management including pre-production, scripting, storyboarding, shoot coordination, editing, and final delivery

Subscription plans

Our Creator, Growth, and Studio plans are monthly or annual subscriptions with defined deliverables as listed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Plan allocations reset on a monthly basis and do not roll over to the following month.

One-off projects

Work outside the scope of a subscription plan — including complex productions, event shoots, brand videos, and projects exceeding plan time limits — is quoted separately and governed by a project-specific brief and quote agreed in writing prior to work commencing.

What's included

The specific deliverables for each plan are as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to update plan inclusions with reasonable notice to active subscribers.

3. Payment & billing

Subscriptions

Subscription fees are billed in advance — monthly or annually depending on the plan selected — via Stripe. Payment is due on the date of subscription and on each renewal date thereafter. By subscribing, you authorise Beditorium to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

One-off projects

One-off project work requires a 50% deposit prior to work commencing, with the remaining 50% due upon delivery of the final files. Work will not be released until payment is received in full.

Late payment

If a subscription payment fails, we will attempt to charge the payment method again within 3 days. If payment cannot be collected within 7 days of the due date, access to services may be suspended until the outstanding amount is settled.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with a minimum of 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Revisions

Each plan includes a set number of revision rounds per video as specified on the pricing page:

  • Creator — 2 revision rounds per video
  • Growth — 3 revision rounds per video
  • Studio — 4 revision rounds per video

A "revision round" means one consolidated set of feedback submitted at one time. Revision requests must be provided in written form (email, Slack, or WhatsApp message) with clear, specific notes. Subsequent changes after the revision allowance has been used will be quoted as additional work.

Revision rounds do not apply to fundamental changes of direction or scope that differ significantly from the original brief. In such cases, the revised work may be treated as a new project.

5. Turnaround times

Indicative turnaround times per plan are as follows, measured from receipt of all assets and a complete brief:

  • Creator — standard turnaround (typically 5–7 business days)
  • Growth — 48-hour priority turnaround
  • Studio — 24-hour turnaround SLA

Turnaround times apply during standard UK business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm GMT/BST). Turnaround begins once all required materials — footage, assets, brief, and any brand guidelines — have been received in full.

Turnaround times may be affected by project complexity, incomplete assets, or delayed client feedback. We will always communicate proactively if a deadline is at risk.

6. Intellectual property

Your content

You retain full ownership of all footage, assets, scripts, and source materials you provide to us. By sharing these materials, you grant Beditorium a non-exclusive licence to use them solely for the purpose of completing your project.

Deliverables

Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you. You are free to use, distribute, and modify the delivered content as you see fit.

Portfolio use

Unless you request otherwise in writing, Beditorium reserves the right to display completed work in our portfolio and on our website as examples of our services. We will always credit the client brand appropriately.

Third-party assets

Any stock music, footage, fonts, or third-party assets incorporated into a project are subject to their respective licences. It is the client's responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate rights for any assets they provide, and Beditorium's responsibility for any third-party assets we source on the client's behalf.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client materials, briefs, business information, and unreleased content as strictly confidential. We will not share, reproduce, or disclose any confidential information to third parties without your prior written consent.

If you require a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before sharing sensitive materials, please request this prior to commencing work. We are happy to sign reasonable NDAs.

8. Cancellation & refunds

Monthly subscriptions

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for the current month's subscription fee. You will retain access to services until the end of the period you have paid for.

Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. A pro-rata refund for unused complete months (excluding the current month) will be issued upon request, less a 10% early cancellation fee. Refunds are not available for the first 30 days of an annual plan.

One-off projects

If a one-off project is cancelled by the client after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. If work has been completed beyond the deposit value, the remaining balance will be invoiced on a pro-rata basis for work completed.

Cancellation by Beditorium

We reserve the right to terminate a subscription or project engagement in cases of non-payment, breach of these Terms, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, a pro-rata refund for unused services will be provided where applicable.

9. Limitation of liability

Beditorium's liability to you in connection with any services provided shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such losses.

We do not guarantee specific results from content or video production services, including but not limited to views, engagement, or revenue outcomes. Our obligation is to deliver work to the agreed specification and quality standard.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us in the first instance to attempt to resolve the matter informally before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
